Lefkara village - near Larnaka - famous for lace.

Omodhos - Troodos - traditional village restored to attract visitors. You can buy delicious naturally sugared exotic fruits here - to die for!

Kakopetria - steeped in tradition in the Solea valley and a great place to stay.

Neo Chorio - old traditional village near Latchi - excellent food to be found at the Kouppas stone taverna and you can see old ladies weaving rugs and doing other handicrafts.

Pano Panagia - birthplace of Archbishop Makarios. Several good wineries close by for refreshments.

Anogyra (pronounced Annoy-ra) - restored houses and the old olive press.

Spilia - beautiful old village in Troodos with well preserved stone olive mill and idyllic mountain scenery.

Pedoulas - famous in Troodos for cherries. 10 different hotels and a fascinating museum. Some of the best souvla roasting on a spit we have tasted.

Milikouri - in the Troodos. Reached by a delightful woodland route (off road route).

Foini - famous for pottery and loukoumi desert.

Kato Amiantos - home to the restored asbestos mine which marrs the gorgeous scenery in the Troodos.

Laona villages in the Polis region - restored homes available for Agrotourism.

Tochni village - home of several Agrotourism houses, a riding center and bike center.

Phyti village - majestic position overlooking the Evretou dam. You MUST eat at Maria's Phyti tavern too - her Sunday lunch is always booked well in advance.

Latchi harbour - fresh fish is a delight!
